Delete account

How to delete your Dozenti account with all its data, or only single data – for the editor, the Library and the Dozenti Scan app. Provider: Daniel Schneider, Dozenti.

Delete it yourself – right away

In the Dozenti Scan app

  1. Open Dozenti Scan and tap your account's initials at the top right.
  2. Tap “Delete account”.
  3. Confirm with your password and tap “Delete account for good”.

In the editor (editor.dozenti.de)

  1. Click your account's initials at the top right.
  2. Choose “Delete account”.
  3. Confirm with your password and click “Delete account for good”.

If you only sign in with Google or Microsoft, you confirm with your e-mail address instead of a password. The account is deleted at once.

Delete single data without deleting the account

Want to keep your account and only get rid of certain data? You can do that yourself, right away and without a request:

  • Worksheets and templates: delete them in the editor under “My documents” – with all pictures, fonts and versions.
  • Scans on the phone: “Delete from phone” in Dozenti Scan. Sent worksheet scans are sheets in the editor and are deleted there.
  • Class sets with pupils' work: deleted automatically after 90 days.
  • Publications in the Library: “Withdraw” in the editor's publishing dialog – the published copy, its PDFs and preview images are deleted.
  • Your posts, ratings, collections and favourites in the Library: remove them there one by one.

For anything else, such as changing the name on your account, write to us via the imprint.

Delete without signing in

Can't get into your account any more? Enter your account's e-mail address. You get a link that deletes it – valid for 60 minutes.

No access to that e-mail address any more? Then write to us via the imprint.

What is deleted

  • your account: name, e-mail address, password and the link to Google or Microsoft
  • all worksheets and templates with pictures, fonts, versions, subjects and folders
  • all scans and class sets from Dozenti Scan with their page images
  • all publications in the Library with preview images and PDFs, plus your comments, posts, feedback, collections and favourites
  • all sign-ins on all devices
  • in the app: this account's scans and class lists on the phone you delete from

What remains

  • Copies other teachers made of your published sheets: they belong to their accounts. The credit in them – title, your name and the licence – stays, because the licence you published under requires it. If you no longer want your name there, write to us.
  • Server logs with IP address and time: access logs are deleted after 7 days, error logs after 14 days.
  • Backups: every night we back up the database and files. A backup is deleted after 14 days – until then deleted data may still be contained in it.
  • Messages to us: support requests from the contact form until 12 months after they are settled, e-mails until your request is settled.
